This semester-long program prepares students for undergraduate university programs, and the TOEFL and IELTS exams required for admission.

This semester-long program prepares students for graduate school, with a focus on the GMAT, GRE, TOEFL, and IELTS exams required for admission, and includes assistance with applications to SDSU and other universities.
Students can apply for Conditional Admission to SDSU's bachelor's degrees. Accepted students are guaranteed admission to SDSU, following the completion of the English proficiency requirement.
Students can apply for Conditional Admission to SDSU for bachelor’s degrees and certain master’s degrees. Undergraduate Conditional Admission guarantees admission to SDSU following the completion of the English proficiency requirement. Graduate Conditional Admission guarantees admission to SDSU following the completion of the English proficiency requirement and meeting the minimum GRE/GMAT score requirement.

Students earn university credit while taking classes with American students at SDSU in non-business departments.
$7,415/semester

Students earn university credit while taking SDSU business classes. Students are also eligible to take classes in non-business majors. Students choose between two programs: Undergraduate Business Courses or Graduate Business Courses.

Semester at SDSU Certificates are available for students who would like to receive a certificate in a specialized area of interest such as Sustainable Tourism Management, or Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation Management (HTM).
• ON-CAMPUS DORMITORY OR APARTMENT – On-campus housing is available at all times of the year
• OFF-CAMPUS PRIVATE HOUSING – Our staff assists students in finding the perfect housing option. Many students live in private houses and apartments within easy walking distance of campus.
• HOMESTAY– The ALI coordinates and manages the homestay program with over 300 families. All locations are within 30 minutes of campus by public transportation.

Public Transportation

The metro, known as the San Diego Trolley, which has a transit station on the SDSU campus, enables students to navigate San Diego without a car.
The Trolley provides students connections to:
• Downtown San Diego
• Some of the finest shopping in Southern California
• Quick connections to San Diego’s many beach communities
The Trolley also gives students without a car a wide choice of living options away from campus.
